Anila Tai offers her clients a unique combination of diverse experience and professionalism leveraging over 15 years of experience in accounting, audit, and finance. She is a thought leader on how to set up accounting systems to scale with the growth of a company. Anila started her career at Ernst & Young, LLP in Los Angeles and has also worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP, Morgan Keegan and ING U.S. In addition to accounting and audit she has experience in investment banking where she helped startups build their valuation models and obtain early stage funding. Most recently Anila led the IPO effort at ING U.S., now known as Voya Financial, which debut with a market capitalization of $5 billion. She has vast experience with companies at all different stages of funding and finds each transition an opportunity to not only develop value for the company but also for the people working around her. After working in large and small firms, she began her private practice in 2015, specializing in small and growing businesses, and providing personal attention to specific client needs. Anila holds a Master of Accountancy from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of California, Riverside from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and currently resides in Battery Park City in Manhattan, New York with her husband and three very busy children.
